Quick Update before my Appointment Next Week...

With work starting back up and my Pole studio closing for a few weeks, I have had to really focus on maintaining my diet. I must say, I can not wait to get back to pole in a few days! I am making it to the gym two days a week, but that isn't enough (though my weight loss picked up a bit the past two weeks, just goes to show that you lose less when you work out!) :/  I have moved in to more size 8 clothing, so I know the working out is paying off!

With the re-entrance of Fall coffee flavors, I am doing damage to my Pumpkin Spiced flavored goodies! hahaha I actually haven't slowed my intake of pumpkin flavored drinks, I just don't drink as much and then I make sure I do something active. Balance is the key!

I crossed off #14 of my bucket list this past week!!

#14 - I have so many pairs of Gucci and Prada heels that I never wear because I mess shoes up from being too heavy or they are just hard to wear all day.  I can't WAIT to have less weight on my shoes and wear cuter ones!  PLUS....SOMEONE will owe me a pair of red Jimmy Choos when I get to 160 pounds!

My brother was in town for HIS birthday and he took my to Jimmy Choo to make good on a 10 year bet! #MyBrotherIsBetterThanYours heheheh

Below is me and my hunni, attending a 1920's/Monte Carlo themed birthday party!

Some say once you hit the one year mark, you will usually even out on your weight loss journey. Some say that happens around 18 months. My goal was to be at 145 by October 24th. I will be working hard towards that goal over the next month!

  1. I spent last evening reading your entire blog. I smiled, I cried, but mostly I was inspired. I met with my surgeon last week and am awaiting a surgery date. Your blog has brought comfort to me. I hope to continue following through your struggles and successes.

    1. Awwee. Thank you for your comment! I know how important it is to make an informed decision. I looked for different perspectives before my surgery. I am glad to hear you are awaiting for a surgery date! How exciting!! Keep me posted on how it goes :)

  2. I too am just waiting for my date, and came across your blog. Very inspired and think this would be great way to track my progress as well. I hope I have similar results as you. I am also 246# and you look amazing almost a yr out!

  3. Thank you! I hope you get your date soon and everything goes smoothly!

  4. Hi I was wondering if you could give us some insight of the psychological eval. Im saving up the money for mine but im just curious what its like

    1. My apologies, I am just seeing this. I did not have to complete a Psych Eval since I paid for my surgery out of pocket. The eval is normally completed if you want insurance to cover the cost.
